“JoLivi’s an artist brand new to the scene, but with a ferocity like hers, we can’t wait to see where her music takes her.” – Fanlala

“I’m so unbelievably excited to be performing at Dinah Shore this year!” Jolivi gushed. “I went a few years ago and had a blast…I am a huge supporter of the LGBT community and can’t wait to perform and party in Palm Springs! I’m thrilled to be a part of such a stellar lineup — this year’s pool party will definitely be one to remember!”
For Los Angeles-based singer JoLivi (formerly known as Leihoku), a little loss, some good ol’ fashioned heartbreak, and a newfound sense of confidence helped define who she truly is as an artist. Her life experiences influenced and evolved her musical sound from adult contemporary island-infused pop on her debut EP, 2013’s Trouble With You Gone, to a fresh alternative pop vibe on her upcoming EP. In late 2015 JoLivi released her latest single “Games,” the first single off of her forthcoming self-titled EP.
“I’ve gone through a lot of difficult things,” JoLivi revealed. “My grandfather died and I went through a really bad breakup. I got my heart broken over and over, but I kept going back to this relationship and it made me feel things I never felt. It made me think about things on a deeper level. It changed me. It helped me grow as a person and as a writer, so I got my pen and paper out and started writing in a way I’ve never written before.”
JoLivi’s new self-titled six-song EP is filled with passionate and personal songs hailing from the darker recesses of her mind and heart. The EP is set to be released in February 2016.
